Joeboy Songs

Joeboy (born Joseph Akinfenwa Donus on 21 May 1997) is a Nigerian afro-pop singer-songwriter. In 2919 his song “Baby” reached the top 10 on Apple Music’s charts in Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya.

He Studied at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he bagged a degree in Human Resource. Joeboy grew up in a musical family; his older brother was in the choir and his dad played the keyboard in church.

 

According to him, he was inspired by the likes of 9ice and ID Cabasa whom he used to hang out within the studio.

Joeboy started his singing career at the age of 16 and recorded his first song “Gbeseyin”, an afrobeat tune, at the age of 17.

He later released Ed Sheeran ‘Shape of You’ cover which was well-received both in Nigeria and across the globe. The song also brought him to limelight which made Mr. Eazi discovered him and offered provisional mentorship.

Currently, Joeboy is one of the talented Nigerian artists with amazing vocals and stylish music attitudes. He has released a couple of songs to his credit including “Baby Baby” which is spreading like wide fire across Nigeria. Below are some of his songs.
